Binding Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Lagos Analysis Corporation (“LANCOR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of s2keyboard.com(the “Site”), as well as any associated hardware products, firmware downloads, evaluation units, developer documentation, software input method editors (IMEs), and commercial inquiries (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing this Site, purchasing products, or downloading technical materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing the Site.
Patent & Intellectual Property Notice
The technology, architecture, and layouts displayed on s2keyboard.com embody proprietary innovations protected by international intellectual property law.
The Shift² Keyboard (S2K) input architecture—including its deterministic multi-state input resolution, dedicated modifier mechanics, and sequential Unicode composition—is protected under Nigerian Patent No. NG/PT/NC/O/2025/19552, with corresponding nonprovisional utility patent applications pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
Nothing on this Site shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license to manufacture, sell, distribute, or incorporate S2K patented technology into third-party hardware or software without an executed commercial license with LANCOR.
Intellectual Property Ownership & Restrictions
- Proprietary Rights: All content, visual interfaces, graphics, keyboard schematics, layout diagrams, technical documentation, firmware code, trademarks, and logos on the Site are the exclusive intellectual property of Lagos Analysis Corporation or its licensors.
- Trademarks:“LANCOR,” “Shift²,” “S2K,” and associated design logos are trademarks of Lagos Analysis Corporation. Unauthorized use of these marks without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
- Restrictions on Use: You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, extract controller firmware, copy key arrangement matrices, or create derivative works of any hardware or software architectures disclosed on the Site.
- Automated Extraction:You may not scrape, crawl, spider, or systematically extract data, technical callouts, or patent specifications from the Site using automated tools without LANCOR’s express written consent.
Commercial Inquiries, Evaluation Units & Pre-Orders
- Evaluation Units: Prototypes, developer evaluation kits, and demonstration units provided to government bodies, educational institutions, or OEMs are provided solely for non-commercial evaluation and testing under separate written evaluation agreements.
- Specifications Subject to Change: Technical specifications, hardware dimensions, character set inclusions, and production schedules displayed on the Site represent ongoing engineering developments and are subject to modification without prior notice.
- Precedence of Signed Agreements: In the event of any conflict between these general Terms of Service and an executed commercial license, joint venture agreement, or government procurement contract between LANCOR and your organization, the terms of the executed bilateral contract shall govern.
Software, Firmware & Driver Licenses
Any microcontroller firmware (including RP2040 configurations), layout definition files, or software Input Method Editors (IMEs) made available for download via s2keyboard.com are licensed, not sold. Subject to your strict compliance with these Terms, LANCOR grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and execute such firmware or drivers solely for internal evaluation and operation with authentic, authorized S2K hardware products.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LAGOS ANALYSIS CORPORATION, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, DATA LOSS, OR WORK STOPPAGE—ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVALUATION HARDWARE, OR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED.
LANCOR’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LANCOR IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100.00 USD), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lagos Analysis Corporation, its directors, officers, engineers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your breach or violation of these Terms; (b) your unauthorized use or reverse engineering of S2K technologies; or (c) your infringement of any intellectual property, patent, or proprietary rights belonging to LANCOR or third parties.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the Site shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Jurisdiction: You irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within Middlesex County or Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA, for the adjudication of any legal proceeding arising from these Terms.
Equitable & Injunctive Relief:Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that any unauthorized reproduction, commercial exploitation, or infringement of LANCOR’s patent, trademark, or trade secret rights causes irreparable harm for which monetary damages alone are inadequate. LANCOR reserves the right to seek immediate injunctive relief and protective orders before any court of competent jurisdiction globally.
Severability & Entire Agreement
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire understanding between you and LANCOR regarding access to s2keyboard.com, superseding all prior online discussions or representations.
